eco innovation programmeAchieving competitive growth and environmental sustainability is possible.
This initiative is addressed mainly to organisations that have developed an environmental product, service, management practice or process which has a proven track record, yet is not fully marketed due to residual risks. The Eco-innovation initiative is intended to overcome those barriers to further market penetration and turn these products and processes into Europe's future eco-innovation successes! Applications from SMEs are particularly encouraged.

Europe joins forces to fight poverty and social exclusion

Almost 80 million Europeans live at risk of poverty, which means they face insecurity, and go without what most people often take for granted.
Living in poverty may result in a variety of problems, from not having enough money to spend on food and clothes to suffering poor housing conditions and even homelessness. Poverty also means having to cope with limited lifestyle choices that may lead to social exclusion.

European e-Competence Framework – A common framework for ICT professionals in all industry sectors

The European e-Competence Framework (e-CF) provides uniquely, a pan-European reference for ICT professional competences across all industry sectors. The framework is part of the European Commission’s e-skills strategy for the 21st century and it was published by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN). ICT stakeholder feedback regarding practical use of the e-CF demonstrates that the framework has the potential to become a major European asset.

Europass, ECVET and EQF for documentation, validation and certification of learning outcomes

CEDEFOPCedefop is carrying out a study to experiment how the Europass framework, more specifically the Europass
Certificate Supplement and Europass Mobility, need to be adjusted to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by ECVET and EQF.
