Hermes-OSR certification

Article Index

  • For the training seminars of Module 1, certificate consists in a participation certificate as the training content is uniquely on awareness rising about Social Responsibility.
  • For the training seminars of Module 2, certificate mainly consists in a participation certificate as the standard training is based on inception training about Social Responsibility. In the case where this inception training is tightly adapted to the need of an organisation or is an integrated part of a learning path defined for an organisation or a group of targeted users, then the training seminar of Module 2 can lead to a more advanced certificate as part of the new defined learning path. In this later case, the training organisation has to provide details on the elements of the seminar and the new syllabus as indicated in previous chapter “By whom a certificate is delivered”.
  • For the training seminars Module 3 and its sub-units, certificates are delivered as a result of an evaluation process taken by a trainee (evaluation process validated at the accreditation phase of the corresponding training offer). Adapted training sessions to specific target groups or learning have to also clearly define the corresponding evaluation scheme prior to the training. To ensure higher quality about the training process and to ensure validity of the certificate to be delivered in respect of the Hermes-OSR label, training organisation are requested to send characteristics of revised syllabus and training programmes to the Administrative Secretariat for records and to the Accreditation Committee for validation. Trainees are recommended to check on the validity of any new training programmes via the Hermes-OSR website prior to register to the training session (in case a newly revised curricula is not yet on-line, future trainees are advised to take contact with the Administrative Secretariat to check if any request for validation of the new curricula is under process. A list of new curricula/training programmes pending for validation will also be published on-line for information).
  • For the training seminars Module 4 and its sub-units, certificates are delivered as a result of an evaluation process taken by a trainee (evaluation process validated at the accreditation phase of the corresponding training offer). As this training Module 4 is generally to be included into a MBA training, double certification can be delivered. Same remarks as for Module 3 apply in case of an adaptation of the syllabus and evaluation process to specific target groups and contexts.
